At first glance of the compact rosette one would say this plant was an echeveria, that is till the flowers appear. Then it can be seen that it is not.
The flowers are 8 mm in width, silvery white with pink carpels and reddish brown anthers. A faint sweet perfume can be detected by those with a good sense of smell.
Offsets arise from the base of the rosette then eventually trailing and rooting at the tips. Two new offsets are showing in the picture above.

CULTIVATION: is easy using a well drained C & S compost and grown with exposure to full light with good ventilation inside. In the growing season water normally; in the winter apply just enough to keep the plants ticking over at 3ºC minimum.
Re pot every 2/3 years using a high potash low nitrogen compost. Slow release fertiliser is useful.
It is essential to remove dead leaves from the bottom of the rosette to prevent botrytis spores getting a hold.

PROPAGATION: is easy from offsets in Spring and Summer.
