Pachyphytum virideE. Walther
I consider this plant to be one of the best Pachy's because of its colour and habit. It starts off as a short stemmed rosette forming plant of fantastic blends of brown, orange, bronze, green and yellow and produces 'fab' flowers similar to P.oviferum, one is shown in Eglintonia high sierra. The picture here is of a much older plant around 10 years.

As the plant ages it develops shrubby stems not unlike a bonsai. These stems can be as colourful as the leaves. Cultivation can be difficult in the winter, too much water can cause rot, too little can cause root loss. Propagation easy from leaves means one can have new plants in reserve. Minimum winter temperature 5/7ºC and maximum light at all times. I keep my plants on a high shelf.
