Crassula capitella flowering in winter

Crassula capitella 'Flame'- inflorescence.
Yacobsen's lexicon describes the inflorescence as thyrsoid, which is an indeterminate mixed inflorescence where the flowers, usually on short pedicels, occur as a main racemose axis with secondary and later axes being cymose.
The above pictures show both; racemose where flower clusters do not terminate growth, and

cymose where stems are terminated by a single flower. The white flowers, without penduncles (sessile- without stalks) were 3mm across when open and 2/3 mm long. The centre pictures show a terminating thyrsus cluster on the end of the stem. The white flowers contrast well against the red leaves but the plants have the disadvantage of sprawling, untidy, flower stems.
