Crassula capitella cv 'Flame'
This plant is not hardy in Southern England and so should go in a heated glasshouse or conservatory with a minimum temperature of 6 degrees C. in the winter. Given a reasonable light situation the flowers start to appear in November and continue till March. The lower leaves stay bright red.
Several flowers appear in each upper leaf axils up

to the end of the stems where they terminate the shoot. Each of the long stems die back when flowering is over. Meanwhile new offsets have been developing at the base and continue the cycle in the new season.
The old flowering stems should be cut off and the remaining young shoots can be grown on as is, or split up for propagation.
