Crassula capitella cv 'Flame'
This plant was originally purchased wrongly named as 'Echeveria pittieri'. I have looked in Jacobsen's Lexicon where I could not positively identify it and so have had an expert confirm this name capitella.
The plant's main claim to fame is the glorious leaf colour when grown outside during summer.

Under glass the leaves are mid green with just a faint flush of pink.
The stems grow upright at first then trail and ultimately become prostrate. In a pot with clear space around the effect is quite pleasing. If the stems lie on soil they will root and can then grow independently.
